I'm a foster mom and have six children ages 4 and under. I took all six of them with me for dental checkups for three of them. This was hands-down the best experience I've ever had in a doctor's office. Everyone was so helpful and patient with us. The staff made all of my children feel special and calm. They helped me juggle all of the kids and were gracious about filling out the extra foster paperwork!! I will be sticking with this dentist for our entire family. 100% recommend!
I went for a six month checkup to this office last week as a new patient because the office was closer than my previous one. Every six months I have had my teeth cleaned and examined and have not had any cavities or other dental work needed in several years. The examination revealed (they said) that I needed two crowns (one a possible root canal) and three additional cavities filled. This was a complete shock since my last visits to my previous dentist have been stellar. The Just for Grins office clerk showed the payment plan which exceeded my dental insurance by $1,651. Of course easy payment plans were offered as well as a 3% discount if the appointment was scheduled that day for treatment. And don't forget the warranty service tacked onto the cost for unforeseen life events of the teeth. This all seemed extremely suspicious and I immediately made an appointment with my prior dentist for a second opinion. My prior dentist took x-rays and examined my teeth today. She said everything looked fine, my teeth were well taken care of and that I had great dental health. She said the crowns and fillings were totally unnecessary. It is extremely upsetting and unethical for this office to make such egregious claims on the treatments they profess I needed. They can say it is their "medical opinion", but I am claiming greed and lack of morals on their part. I wish I could post zero stars for them Stay away!
Our daughter actually likes visiting the dentist when we come here! This dentist office is absolutely amazing!! We brought our 5 year old in today for some work on cavities in her mouth. They went out of their way to make sure she was more than comfortable the whole time! They even have names for the tools they use and what they are doing to help explain what's going on and make it less terrifying to go to the dentist. As long as the service stays up to par as what we experienced today we will be customers for life! Thank you Just for Grins for making her feel so comfortable!
I took my 4 yr old daughter here for her 6month cleaning and they said she had 8 cavities and wanted to put on 4 stainless steel caps! I didn't see how that was possible bc she was just at her regular dentist in January with no problems. I went for a second opinion at a highly recommended pediatric dentist, and she only has 2 cavities. Just for Grins? Ha! Should be named, Just for your Money.
The staff was great and accommodating! I had my 9 month old with me and the staff took turns holding and playing with him to make sure he was satisfied so mom could get her teeth looked at! They are amazing!
