For a year this place was fantastic and I had no concerns about my dogs while they were there. And then around the end of May the management switched. Ever since the new manager Heather took over and replaced a better part of the staff the place has gone downhill. In mid-June, I boarded my two dogs there, as I had done several other occasions, and when I returned four days later it was not pretty. One of my dogs was allowed to play in the yard. My other dog had been locked in his “suit” (more like jail cell) for four days and paid no attention. He had dried feces on him and smelled strongly of urine. She insisted that he was taken out of his “suit” every couple of hours. It is hard to believe a dog that is being taken out every couple of hours and not allowed to play with other dogs can smell so strongly of urine and have dried feces on them. The fact that he had a rash covering his stomach made it clear he had been forced to lay in his own urine for days. Not to mention he was in a negative mental state. He appeared as if he had been locked in a concentration camp for four days. So, at the time of picking him up the facility insisted that I pay a $30 fee for damage my dog supposedly caused to the wall. Never once was I shown the damage or shown justification for the charge. However, I can tell you my dog has never damaged a piece of furniture, a wall, or even a toy. Anytime you lock any animal in a cage for four days, pay them no attention, and force them to lay in their own feces they are going to try to escape. This place neglected my best friend for four days and then wanted me to pay for the animalistic response. When concerns about how my pet was treated were bought to Heather’s attention she shrugged them off and denied any mistreatment. I requested a refund for his four day stay. Heather informed me that she was unable to make a decision on a refund. She said she would need to speak to the owner, Amber. However, Amber was on vacation in Mexico for the next week so it would be a week before I heard back. A week passed and no contact from Amber or Heather. After two weeks, I contacted Heather to see what was going on. She said Amber had told her she had called me. To which I informed Heather that had I heard from her. She then told me she could not refund me for the mistreatment of my dog, but was willing to discount a future stay. A discount that I will not be using. A week passed and I realized that we had a stay already scheduled for my dogs in about a month. My wife called to cancel the stay and any future stays we may have forgotten about. Ed answered the phone and was curious about the cancelation. After explaining the situation to him he told my wife he was going to look into it and get back to her. Another couple of weeks pass and again no one contact either of us, as promised. (starting to see a pattern of avoiding confrontation or owning up to mistakes.) My wife again called and spoke with Ed. Ed insisted he had sent an email and apologized for us not receiving it. The gist of the email was they were refunding us the “$45” we were charged for the damaged our dog supposedly caused. (Funny that we were told at pick up it was $30 come to find out it was actually $45) (Again another lie from the people of this place.) They could only refund us that amount because it cost of the stayed equaled the repair cost. Funny thing is, there would have been no damage if my dog had not been abused for 4 days. This facility is supposed to be a pet resort, not a doggy concentration camp. If I wanted to kennel my dog I would go to an actual kennel and save money. This place was supposed to be “something positive by providing a fun, clean and safe environment where dogs can be themselves”, think again. To this day two months later I still have not received the “refund of $45”. The owner clearly does not care about dogs or the people that pay for her to go on lavish vacations in Mexico.

This is a wonderful place to take your dog. They have a great staff and our dog LOVES going there. He almost pulls my arm off once we park and he knows where he is at. When we pick him up he is happy and I swear he has a smile on his face. He gets home and has a great nights sleep because of how much he played while he was there. I highly recommend Dogs rule.

I love the staff here. They are so loving with all the dogs. And I love the fact that when I board my dog he doesn't spend most of the day in a crate. They let him out to play. Just a great place. :)

Love this place! I made a boarding reservation and got to bring my dog Rubble in for a free day of doggy daycare so that they could get used to him and he could get used to them before boarding. I love how much time they get to spend outside so they aren't stuck in a kennel all day. And checking on him on the camera made me feel much better knowing he was having fun. The people are great and they take great care of all the dogs!! We will be back for more doggy daycare!!

Our lab LOVES Dogs Rule and they take such good care of him. Plus, he's pooped when her comes home. Thanks guys!
