These guys treated me very well. I have an unusually thick door that is nearly impossible to switch knobs and locks. On top of that I wanted an electronic key pad which made it even more difficult. The guy who worked on my door was on time and he worked really hard to make sure it was perfect.
I tried 3 different places for a Trans Am ignition key but every key didn't work....I should have went to Michael's first....good prices and made sure my keys worked before leaving....very nice and professional
I purchased a programable key online for my truck. I did a local search online for locksmiths and Micheal’s popped up on the search engine. I arrived at 4:45 pm, about 15 minutes till closing. I told the clerk behind the counter that I need a key programmed. She said “your cutting it close ain’t you?” Hinting that it was almost closing time. I did not realize that it was going to take 15 minutes to program the key. She asked me to wait inside and she grabbed a programming device, walked outside and sat in my truck to program the key. While waiting inside another customer arrived, but there was no one else to wait on him. I apologized to him and told him the clerk was outside programming my key. He finally left due to waiting with no one else to assist him. Eventually the clerk came back in and stated that my key was defective and the programming failed, but she still had to charge me $45 for the attempt. After apologizing for the inconvenience and keeping her there till 5:10pm she said “I’ll go ahead a just charge you $35. I asked if maybe she had a key in stock that she could sell me and I would be glad to pay for it. I told her I would come back because she was giving a vibe of wanting to close up and go home. I just want to say the owners of this business may want to consider sending your staff to a customer service and sales training seminar. I have worked in retail as a GM, DM, and regional manager for multi-million dollar companies for the last 25 years. Your employees should always go above and beyond to exceed the expectations of your customers and provide outstanding service. I must say I was surprised to see your organization has a 5 star rating. It is individuals like this that will continue to push me to shop online. Good luck in the future.
I don't usually post reviews like this, but I have to say that Michael's Keys were absolute life savers today. My children and I were stuck in a parking lot because my key wouldn't turn in the ignition. From the moment I called them, they were diligent in helping me out. They seemed more genuinely concerned that I was stuck in the heat with two small children than just making money. DJ worked the phones trying to figure out how best to get me back on the road. Jeff the technician promptly showed up and replaced my keys quickly right as a bad storm was approaching, but was prepared to rebuild the ignition cylinder right then and there at a fair price if necessary. Super friendly, professional, and ethical, I couldn't be happier with Michael's Keys. My highest recommendation! Thank you so much!!
