I drive my mom there yesterday and they lady at the front was super nice but the x-ray technician was awful. She was forceful with her arm that was hurt and swelling. She would raise her voice at her telling her to chill out and that her fingers weren't turning blue when they clearly were. The doctor didn't even examine her arm and just gave her two shots and some perceptions and sent us on our way. If anything happens again to me or the rest of my family we will not be coming back.
I have no complaints about the staff or services with these exceptions. The nursing staff while helpful were a bit gruff. The staff at the front desk were mostly engaged in a conversation between themselves about something non-work related. They did attend me while I was there, but were pretty much unobservant of my condition or needs. There was a man that helped me with a Wheelchair that was very nice and helpful. To him I said thank you and would do so again. He was a nice guy. Otherwise I would summarize the staff as being cold. Most of my complaints, however, are about their billing, which is a recurring theme here so please take note if you are reading this. These are NOT isolated incidents. I was in this facility for back spasms for less than an hour (which is good, in and out right?). Keep in mind that I was pretty much the only one there and obviously in retrospect the one person paying to keep this facility open for that evening. I saw the Dr. for 10 minutes worth of total time, received one anti-inflammatory shot received a prescription and was on my way. The facilities charges amounted to $2000 and the Dr's fees were $713. Furthermore the Dr was "out-of-network" something they knew or should known and failed to communicate. I will never go here again. You are better off driving to HMH-Alliance. This place is involved is some serious legalized criminal activity.
The receptionist and nurses were so kind and helpful to my sons and I. One of my sons had mouth trauma from a trampoline accident. I drove to an emergency dentist (who never answered my phone calls or called back). The injury was significant so I went to Baylor ER in Keller. The receptionist knew that he needed a dentist immediately and called a nurse from the back. She also brought my family waters and an ice pack for my son. The nurse called several numbers for us and requested return phone calls to the ER. Another nurse heard what we were in for and came out to the reception area and told us to go to Cooks Children's Hospital. She helped with directions and promised us that there would be Doctors to help us there. Thank goodness because my son may not have his front teeth right now. Thank you to the staff at Baylor. We just moved to Keller from out of state and had no clue what to do. We are deeply grateful!
Do not go to this place for any emergency! Their billing practices are outrageous! I went there for my child for simple skin allergy and has been discharged with in 15 mins and showed bills of $1553 .....seriously Expensive....
Its been seven months since I last went to this hospital and i'm still receiving outrageous bills that i have paid several times. How do you justify an $1800 ER bill when the doc misdiagnosed and then charge $25 for medications when we received none. Then on top of the high prices I have to pay doctor fees as well? 10/10 will not return.
